This egg pendant is made in the tradition of the extraordinary Russian jeweler Peter Carl Fabergé. The first Fabergé egg was commissioned by Tsar Alexander III in 1885 as an Easter gift for his wife, Empress Maria. This was the beginning of a beautiful Romanov family tradition, to give jeweled eggs as gifts for Easter.
This high-quality pendant, decorated with hand-painted enamel and Austrian crystals, is the perfect addition to any ensemble all year round, but especially during the forty days of Pascha!
