This incense burner is balanced on top of a votive glass. The flame heats the tray and burns the incense. This burner is ideal for burning small amounts of incense, and should not be left unattended. The flame should be extinguished before the incense begins to blacken. We recommend covering the plate with a small piece of aluminum foil, so that the incense can be easily removed.
